*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Rainbird dipped her head and retreated to the warrior's den to clean her wounds.

Flykit followed her numbly, looking up at the sky like it was about to fall on her any second.

Skykit watched them leave, his tail waving thoughtfully
“It’s alright,” Snowfrost murmured, holding her kits close and licking them gently. “It’s gone now.”

Lilyflight looked down at Skykit. “Are you alright?” She licked his ear.

Flykit pressed into her mothers side for comfort

"Yeah, I'm fine. I've never been in the camp before!" He began looking around excitedly

She continued to groom them.

Featherkit nosed his sister gently, then buried his muzzle in Snowfrost’s belly fur.

“Not at night, you haven’t,” she mewed with amusement. “Now come on, you should be asleep. We’lol be leaving in a moment.” She looked up at the crowd of cats, waiting for Bramblestar to address them.

Skykit sighed in disappointment.

Bramblestar leaped onto the Highrock and called the familiar summons. "As you all know, an owl has just attacked the camp in attempts to catch an easy meal. Thanks to the bravery of Rainbird and Snowfrost, the kits are safe and will recover from their shock soon." He dipped his head to Rainbird. "This proves that this fast-approaching leaf-bare will be tough for us, if an owl is willing to take a kit. I want to reinforce the camp-wall and especially the nursery. Dustleg can take care of organizing that." With that, he jumped down

Finally, when her kits fell asleep, she sat by the entrance to the nursery, listening to the Clan meeting and dipping her head gratefully to Bramblestar’s words before disappearing inside.

Lilyflight led Skykit inside. “You can play in the morning,” she murmured grooming him as he lay down.

Nightpaw trotted over to the warrior's den, carefully stepping over others until she came to her mentor. She then prodded her with a paw. "Are we going to train today?" She asked hopefully. The truth was, Nightpaw wanted to get out of camp. Get away from the other apprentices' glares.
“I’ve no idea.”

“Sure. Let’s go.” She stood up and stretched, then led Nightpaw out.

“Yes, we are,” Flamefrost responded, sitting down. “Let’s see your hunting skills.”
Nightpaw crouched down and whipped her tail around. She looked curiously at Flamefrost.

"Fine." Skykit mewed, slightly disappointed. He then realized how tired he was and gave a big yawn. "Goodnight."

Once the kits were comfortably asleep, Snowfrost managed to drift off.

“Goodnight.” He fell asleep as she groomed him, and she soon followed.
Bramblestar soon entered the den and curled around them both, purring softly while Dustleg was managing three cats that were willing to stay up late to work on the camp wall and nursery
