*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Prairiepaw sauntered up to Sunstrike. "Hello my dear, wise, noble mentor." She laughed, dipping her head low in mock respect and admiration.
She sighed and flopped down to her haunches. "Got anything for me to do? Because i'm BORED as HECK."
Sunstrike shook her head slightly in amusement. "Sure, lets go battle training."

"Be prepared to be defeateeeeeed!" She sang as she scampered ahead to the training hollow.
She watched fondly as her apprentice disappeared in the tunnel before following. When she arrived, she decided to make her go through some regular drills first. "Alright, lets warm-up first. Let's see your battle stance."

"Oh pULESE!" snorted Prairepaw, sinking into a nearly flawless position. "Gimme a challenge!" She grinned. "Even that ol' worm can do this!" She flicked her tail towards the worm that was squirming along next to her.

Her whiskers twitched in amusement. "Now, now, Prairepaw. A good warrior must learn how to crawl before it can walk and how to walk before it can run." She chastened lightly. She inspected her carefully before moving on. "Okay, now pounce on that leaf, I want to check your form."

"Yes. And a worm must learn to squirm before it can squirm some more before it can squirm even more." Prairiepaw shot back with witty nonchalance.
Eyeing the leaf, she grinned and asked sarcastically, "Are you sure the leaf isn't to big for me? I think I need something a little less....scary."

"Prairiepaw..." She warned, with a small hint of annoyance. She could only tolerate her apprentice not being serious for so long.

"Okay, okaaay." Prairiepaw said quickly, pouncing on the leaf. after snapping it into her jaws, she spat it out immediately. "Ewww! This is the grossest vole i've ever tasted!"

She laughed quietly. "Good job. Now we can get to the actual stuff. Attack me."
"I don't have to be told twice..." She muttered mischievously under her breath as she launched herself at her mentor. With claws carefully retracted, she delivered a solid blow to her mentor's neck, landed lightly on her toes, and spun around for more. Weaving quickly around her mentor, she darted in and out, giving a series of strategic hits, dancing just out of reach in the nick of time. For even though she seemed quite goofy on the outside, she was actually quite a skilled fighter.
