Nightbird watched the warriors dart out of the tunnel and into the undergrowth. She watched wistfully, wishing she could have gone too. Beating up a fox would get my mind off things.

Sunstrike and Rainbird's ears drew back to their skulls as they bared their teeth. Rainbird flashed forward first, raking her claws across its muzzle then darting back before it could snap at her"Springsong, your smell isn't good, but you can hear super well, right? Silverdew whispered.
Springsong nodded. "Then heard to the front" "Okay."
She crept forward. Suddenly, her sharp ears picked up a rustling to her left.
"Stop! Everyone, shh..''
Suddenly, a flash of russet fur shot through the undergrowth in front of them. It whipped around and-
"FOX!"
It was right in front of them.
(Are the other two charries I made accepted?)
Snowfrost sprang between Silverdew and the fox, all her fur on end, her ears flat against her head, back arched, and her lips drawn back in a fierce snarl. She slashed its chest with her claws, blood welling up and staining her claws crimson. This only made the fox more angry. It lunged toward her, but Snowfrost was ready for it. It was a fierce battle, but in between blows Snowfrost managed to drag Silverdew away little by little until she was a safe distance away. Snowfrost got scratches and small gashes along her flank and at the top of her head, and the tip of her right ear was torn off. It would be nice if someone helped me about now! She hissed and sliced its nose open. The fox backed off, eyes wide. Maybe it had seen she wasn’t such easy prey after all. “Get out of here!” she spat. “Back to your dust hole!” It turned tail and fled, and she sat down heavily, panting and shaking the dripping blood out of her eyes. She ran over to check on Springsong and Silverdew.Springsong lashed at it's chest at it lunged at them. It screeched and raked it's claws across her side, sending her flying into the underbrush. She was out cold, and didn't get up.
Silverdew screeched. She jumped on the large fox's back, digging in her claws. It twisted and snarled, trying to reach her. It's teeth caught her leg, and it flung her from it's back. She tried to stand, but her leg was bleeding profusely, and was wrenched painfully out of position. She yowled as the fox pounced on her. It stood over her, snarling. She closed her eyes, and waited for the killing blow.
She hurried over to Springsong and checked her over. She seemed okay other than the fact that she wasn’t conscious, which, obviously, meant something else was wrong. “I think she hit her head,” Snowfrost reported. “It’s best if we get her back to camp.”Silverdew stood up grimacing at the pain in her front leg. She let out a whimper at the sight of her leg. "I-I think I might be losing quite a bit of blood..I can't really walk either. Snowfrost, is Springsong ok?"
"Ugh...I wish I was a better fighter...Maybe Springsong wouldn't be knocked out in some bush and I wouldn't be a liability to the clan because I'm hurt!"
Silverdew nodded. She hurried over to Springsong and checked her over. She seemed okay other than the fact that she wasn’t conscious, which, obviously, meant something else was wrong. “I think she hit her head,” Snowfrost reported. “It’s best if we get her back to camp.”
Silverdew nodded gratefully at Snowfost's help. "Thanks..she mewed to Sunstrike. "I could have stopped it from hurting Springsong though. I wish I had been quicker. I hope she's ok..."Sunstrike and Rainbird quickly lifted Springsong onto their shoulders, doing their best to be gentle. "Hey, Snowfrost, do you have enough strength to help Silverdew back to camp? That wound looks nasty. Oh, and that was really well fought. I'm impressed." Sunstrike mewed
