*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

He sighed. "Yep." After a moments hesitation he added "I'm worried about using that herb though... it's poisonous..." He admitted
"I know it is, and I'm worried too... But they said to use only a little bit every day. There's no way ShadowClan could have learned about Sunshine the same day it happened, and why would they want to poison her in the first place? I think as long as we have yarrow within reach, we've got nothing to lose in trying it."

"Still.... I've never really trusted ShadowClan that much."

"Me either," she admitted. "But they follow the warrior code, just like us. I don't believe even they would try something as fox-hearted as that."
He nodded. He knew there was sense in her words, but he couldn't just ignore the feeling in his gut.

"At the very least we should tell Feathersky about their suggestion, right? She knows more about herbs than either of us. I think it's fair that she has the final say in how we treat Sunshine."

"You're right. I'm just worried because this puts Sunshine in so much risk..."

"I know it does... And I'm honestly terrified for her. But this is obviously so much more than a fever. But then again, even if she gets yarrow in the same heartbeat if something were to go wrong, she'd still be in danger from the poison... I'm just worried about either the sickness or the water hemlock killing her. But if we don't try anything, I'm afraid she'll just die anyway."

He nodded. "So we do it."

Batkit bolted away and tried to get into the medicine den. “FEATHERSKY! Let me in! Mama is sick!”
Feathersky figured this would happen when the kits realized she was sick, so she had already asked a warrior to help her when it happened. The warrior shot out of the den, picked the kit up by the scruff and set it down with Whiteshine in the nursery. Whiteshine put her paw on top of Batkit so he couldn't go anywhere.
