Feathersky looked at Lilyflight with pity. She would have stayed with her accept sitting vigil was one of the things she had to do in order to sleep through the night. If she didn't she would have been buried in guilt. The medicine cat ducked her head as she exited the den and padded to Rainpaw's limp, lifeless body. Her eyes were open as if she were still staring at the snarling fox. Both of the animals would be sleeping with the stars that night. Rainpaw's endless gaze made Feathersky shiver and so she dipped her head closing the apperentice's eyes so she appeared to be sleeping. "may you have a safe journey to starclan," she said dipping her head. Feathersky sat there all night. Her eyes never left the face of the brave apprentice."I think I'll be fine for now," Lilyflight murmured sympathetically. "And... I'm sorry. You can go out there now if you want." She rested her head on her paws in a dejected way.
