Blackpaw dragged his paws over to the fresh kill pile and picked out a magpie.

Sunpaw saw that she wasn't needed anymore in helping out with Sunshine, so she went back to camp and spotted Blackpaw eating by himself. "Hi Blackpaw!" Sunpaw said happily.

Blackpaw continued to eat his Magpie alone.

Sunpaw remembered that he was more of a loner and said no more to him and instead entered the apprentices den to finish taking her nap that was interrupted earlier.

Cloudclaw walked around camp watching some warriors bring birds and rodents to the fresh kill pile wishing she hadn't been injured and that she could hunt and fight like before. Looking around she noticed that several cats that were usually at the camp at that time were missing.

Sunpaw woke up from her nap and saw the fresh-kill pile seemed to be getting a little low, so she exited the camp to go hunting with her mentors permission.
