Lilyflight thought for a moment. "Alright," she mewed at last. Then a glimmer of amusement lit her eyes. "But don't tease me, I haven't played since I was a kit!"

"Don't worry I won't!" Sunpaw squeaked and ran off to find a suitable ball of moss. She returned gripping the ball and dropped it at her feet. She batted it to Lilyflight happily.

She let out a mrrow of amusement at seeing the young apprentice acting like a kit. Clan life was wonderful, but sometimes it was nice to just let loose every now and then, Lilyflight reflected.

It was good to feel like a kit again, Sunpaw knew that it would only last a mere few minutes, but it was nice to forget her responsibilities and just have fun. Her tail twitched in anticipation of Lilyflight batting the moss-ball back to her.

The ball went back and forth, until finally it grew old. "You done yet?" she asked Sunpaw playfully as she batted the ball back yet again.

As the ball came towards her, she jumped into the air and spun around and kicked the ball back with her back paws. "Yes, I think the elders were wanting me to check them over for ticks. I better do that before they get cranky." All of her responsibilities came rushing back to her at once and the moment of feeling like a kit was gone too soon. As she got up to leave, she nuzzled Lilyflight and said "Thanks for playing with me."

Lilyflight gave the young apprentice a lick. "You better get going then, before they claw your ears off," she teased. "I'll take care of the ball."
