*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"Great job Nighthowl! That is exactly what I would've said." Sunpaw tried the move again and this time leapt on top of it before it had finished moving. Whiteshine told her to try it out on one of them now, and she looked at Nighthowl expectantly.
“I think she should try it out on you,” he corrected. “Your weight and size is much more closely ranged.” He mewed pointedly. He was no small cat, and it would be hard for Sunpaw to unbalance him.

Sunshine glanced at Nighthowl and mewed, "How about me? I'm a small cat, around her size. She might like to fight me. How about it Sunpaw?"

(Last one I can do)

Whiteshine smiled and said "That was a test, you passed" She lept at Sunpaw and she rolled to the right and jumped on her back before she landed and when she did land, it had knocked her off balance and so she fell.

(Sorry, I didn't see it)

Whiteshine stood up and praised Sunpaw and told Sunshine that she could fight her on the next move that they taught her. "Now you need to learn how to counter-attack that move." Sunpaw nodded and was feeling a lot more overwhelmed that she had ever before. Her tail-tip had started going back and forth with anxiety.

Sunshine glanced over her stance and noticed her tail. "Sunpaw, listen to this. Widen up your hind legs, and lower a little bit. Now Whiteshine do the move again. Sunpaw, you try and avoid it, don't forget that you're strong. But you are not a bigger cat, use your size as an advantage."

Sunpaw looked at her gratefully and she widened her legs and lowered her body. Whiteshine waited until she was ready before leaping on her again. Sunpaw felt herself able to move a little faster, and she knew that she was a smaller target now. She rolled out of the way, and instead of jumping on her back like she had been, she leaped and intercepted her half-way through her jump and knocked her out of the air. She pinned her to the ground and after a second, let her back up. Whiteshine's breath had been knocked out, so she wasn't able to praise Sunpaw.

Sunshine looked her over. "Okay so of you straighten your tail, then your balance could be better. I think that you should focus, however, on your front paws. Move them into a comfortable position, like this." She moved into her stance and showed her how she kept one in front and one in to keep her balance. "This way you can more easily judge your leap. How do you think we can both fix up our stances, Nighthowl? Any advice?"
