He laughed and swished his tail back and forth, trying to dislodge Copperkit.

Blackpaw raced after her, laughing then all of a sudden he stopped dead in his tracks and his eyes had a far away look in them

*Blackpaw's memory*
He was in the Dark Forest training with Fangheart. That day, he had brought someone to train with him, one of the cats he needed to kill. Fangheart gave the command to attack, he leapt into action and he started chasing the cat, just as he was chasing Snowkit. The cat's eyes glistened with fear while he chased them. He finally got close enough and pounced, ripping their throat out.

He shook his head and cleared himself of the memory, He stood there, trembling for a few seconds before bolting away from Snowkit and hiding in the den he had spent all of his time in for quite a few moons.

She looked at him in confusion. She hurried up to his den and called in hesitantly, "Blackpaw? Are you okay?"
