She nuzzled her and licked her ear. "The one thing that helps after you die, si knowing that one day you get to see them again."

“I hope so. But I’ll never be as great as you were, or Bluestar, or Bramblestar, or anyone else really... I’ll just do what’s best for the Clan, though.”

She nodded and licked her ears. "I don't want any cat to be afraid of death."

Firestar nodded, knowing she would keep that promise. He was also glad that she hadn't realized yet that for her to become leader, Bramblestar would have to die.
