“I- I need a minute.” She stood up shakily and went into the apprentice’s den, laying in her nest and burying her muzzle in her front paws, taking deep breaths."Okay." She nodded, leaving it at that
Hazelkit walked in and nuzzled her comfortingly. "I know it's hard." She mewed "But we can't stop destiny."“I- I need a minute.” She stood up shakily and went into the apprentice’s den, laying in her nest and burying her muzzle in her front paws, taking deep breaths.
“Why did you think I could handle this?” She asked, a sob still in her voice as she lifted her tear-stained face to look at Hazelkit. “Why did anyone think I could handle it? I don’t know what to do. I know I can’t do anything, and that makes it worse. I try anyway and then it feels like my fault when I fail.”Hazelkit walked in and nuzzled her comfortingly. "I know it's hard." “I wish they did... I mean, if Lilyflight told Bluetail what I told him, he’d think she’d gone a bit crazy, but he’d probably listen at least!”"Warriors don't like to listen to apprentices, even when they're prophecy kits."
"Exactly." She nodded. "What you can do though, is tell Lilyflight about what's going to happen. She'll listen to an apprentice."“I wish they did... I mean, if Lilyflight told Bluetail what I told him, he’d think she’d gone a bit crazy, but he’d probably listen at least!”
