Flamefrost crept silently through the undergrowth, which was beginning to thin. Her ears were pricked and her jaws were open to catch the scent of prey. A vole was nibbling on a dandelion stem next to a small stream. She had soon stalked and killed it.
"Nicely done." Redfrond mewed. His ears swiveled toward a nearby tree a squirrel was climbing. "Gotcha." He said quietly as he darted up the tree after it. He jumped from branch to branch with ease and had soon caught up to it. He leaped a final time and sunk his teeth into it's spine, killing it instantly.
