Bramblestar gasped in shock and horror. No one knew an expecting queen as well as a medicine cat did.
Lilyflight’s eyes widened with horror and shock. “She- She was?”
“That's what I think, yes.”
"Poor Blackblood..." Rosethorn murmured softly
“I know,” Lilyflight agreed softly. She knew what it was like to lose one kit, but not a whole litter. She couldn’t imagine that. What if she had lost not only Starkit, but Rainbird, Owlherb, and Thistlefern?
They stayed silent for a few moments until Bramblestar mewed "So, how do we get Snowfrost out of the Dark Forest?"
“I would think we have to wake her up somehow, but how?”
“I agree with Lilyflight,” Floodlight meowed. “I don’t have any experience with this, though. I’d have to go to the moonstone and ask StarClan.”
He nodded thoughtfully. "Hasn't Beetlepaw been around Blackblood a lot?"
“He has... And Snowfrost is his mentor. We smelled his scent where we found Snowfrost, too. Do you you think he has something to do with this?”
"Maybe... we should bring him in and question him."
Beetlepaw didn't know what to do. Snowfrost was stuck in the Dark Forest and he couldn't get her out. If he tried, Darksky would probably kill him. Should I tell someone? Darksky will probably hurt me if I do, but I have to get her out of there... He made up his mind and walked into Bramblestars den. "Er..." He stammered when four pairs of eyes were on him.
"Beetlepaw, we were just about to come get you. Sit down." Bramblestar invited
