*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Brackenkit lay there in a tight ball, and, once Lilyflight was safely asleep, he lifted his head to look at his father. “Will she be okay? She looks really hurt,” he whimpered. “Who would do that?”
"She will as long as she had Floodlight and Hazelkit looking after her." He promised his son, licking his ears. "A very, very evil cat did this."

"Darksky." He hissed

Blackblood slithered down the tree he was in and looked down disdainfully at the injured form of Darksky. "Some plan that was." He muttered
“Who’s that?” His eyes widened, even though he already knew the answer. He had seen her. He had taken training from the place that had almost killed his mother.

“It would have worked if Spottedleaf hadn’t come,” she muttered.

"Someone you should never meet."

"Mm. But she did, so it didn't work."

“But...” He spoke in a very small voice, trying to force out the words he had never said before. “But I have.”

She hissed furiously, ignoring the fresh blood that spilled. “I’ll come up with something else. There’s still more we can do.”

"What?" His head snapped toward him. "When? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Yes, but we had a deal. I don't think it'd be very fair to kill you while you can barely even kill a mouse though..."

“B-Blackblood trained me,” he stammered. “I saw her. She wasn’t nice. She hated me. This was a little before mother got taken.”

She snarled but said nothing.

"Blackblood. Of course it was him." He snarled. "If you ever go there again, run as far as you can away from all the cats there until morning."

"I guess I'll keep you alive, so long as you don't even think about questioning my leadership again." He looked at her expectantly, waiting ofr her to agree

“Okay.” He spoke in a small voice. “What will you do to Blackblood when he wakes up from being in the Dark Forest?”

Darksky nodded and stared determinedly in the other direction. She’d almost rather die than agree. Almost.
