*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Lionpaw followed her. "Hey, Firespot!" He mewed good-naturedly.
"Oh, hey. Congratulations on becoming a warrior." He dipped his head to Night bird before returning his attention to Lionpaw. "I thought I told you to go hunting?"
"I'm about to. I was wondering if Nighbird could join me."
"Sure. Just remember not to eat any and if you bring back enough, I'll let you have the first pick."
"Thanks, Firespot!"
"No problem. No get out of here." He purred, nudging him toward the gorse tunnel.
Lionpaw exited camp and took a deep breath, enjoying the way the forest smelled as he waited for Nightbird to join him

"Ok." He agreed, and followed her
Nightbird followed the apprentice, waving her fluffy tail behind her. Though she didn't look it, she was excited. It was going to be her first hunt as a warrior.

She led him back to camp. “Get yourself something to eat. You’ve walked a long way today.”
"Thanks," he meowed gratefully, grabbing a mice from the scarce pile. He took it to the stump where the apprentices usually ate before biting into it with a ravenous gulp.

They soon arrived at the RiverClan border. Lionpaw sniffed around a little bit before twitching his tail to alert NIghtbird that there was a bird nearby

She watched the new apprentice scamper away and smiled to herself. She went to grab a vole.

Dustfur lay down at the edge of camp, a cool rock against her back. She angled her ears towards Bramblestar, hoping to catch a snippet of the conversation between Bramblestar and Skypaw's mentor. A twinge of jealousy stirred in her chest. She wanted to be a mentor, but nobody seemed to think of her as an option. She licked her shoulder, evaluating herself. Clearly something about herself was keeping her from being a mentor. Being a logical thinker, she was exceptional at putting her feelings aside and critically picking apart her traits with no emotion. Now, she realized a quality that she had that none of the other mentors seemed to posses. She was too indifferent. She always wore a perfect neutral expression--of course! Bramblestar didn't think she was interested! That was why. But how to change? Should she change?

She scratched at a tick as she thought deeply upon this.

“He did well,” she reported. “We toured the territory, and tomorrow I’ll start teaching him some basic fighting moves.”
"Good." He nodded in relief. He finished the shrew and stood up to stretch. "I'm going to see how Snowfrost and her kits are doing. Keep me updated on his training." With that, he walked off to the nursery

“Of course.” She dipped her head respectfully as he walked off.

“Hello, Bramblestar,” Snowfrost greeted from where she lay in the moss as her fast-growing kits clambered over her. Featherkit was crawling over her flank.

Sunstrike noticed Dustfur looking thoughtful and sat down to join her. "Hey," She greeted warmly.

Flykit looked up at Bramblestar. "That's the leader, right?" She asked Featherkit quietly
