Hey,
I am a new mother to two Rhode Island Red chicks, I've never had chickens before so am a little nervous! The two chicks are about 2 weeks old & are living in a homemade brooder inside my house. They are both quite chirpy, but one occasionally passes quite runny poo compared to the other - kind of a dark mustard colour of runny consistency.
Otherwise she seems fine - very active, drinking & eating plenty. They seem warm enough- they're not huddling under the lamp or pushed out to the side of the box, just moving about freely. Is this normal or is it the sign of an underlying problem?
