Bloody poop?

Both of my Rhode Island Red have pooped this runny, bloody mess. What could be causing this?

My RRR hens are both pooping runny red stuff. They have a huge build up of nasty dry poop. I plan to give them a bath but have no idea what is causing this

How old are they?
What do you feed, including treats?

They have a build up of poop (on their vents)? Can you get photos?

The photo you posted looks like it's runny Cecal Poop. Is it hot where you are? Knowing your general location like the state you live in can be helpful.

Corid is a thiamine inhibitor, if your birds have coccidiosis, which often causes red/wierd poops it kills off the bacteria that causes it

They are not quite a year old. We feed the crumble chicken feed from TSC. They are in a large fenced in area and I let them out 3-5 times a week to free range for about an hour.
