Runt Broiler Chick

He seems fine, he just gets ran over every now and then by the other chickens. He acts like all the others, but he is just smaller. I will keep a close eye on him. Thanks Dogfish for the compliments on my flock!!!

Wow, thanks for this message and pictures. I have the exact same problem! I bought egg layers and broilers and was raising them seperately and thought maybe the hatchery (who I *thought* gave me an extra broiler chick) gave me the a white rock instead. I was feeling guilty that I put this chick in with the broilers instead of the layers. Then the chick started acting very lethargic and I felt REALLY bad. It eats and drinks, it just doesn't grow. The other birds leave it alone.

Now I don't feel so bad, but the poor chickie...
