Well the chicks are starting to "barr" afterall so I guess we were wrong and rural king was right.. Only one of the chicks is still all black, I guess thats a male? Or maybe an odd ball chick or it could just be a late bloomer? Who knows! Lol

***correction*** My sisters idea of barring on the females wasnt true barring, instead I really think it is the brown speckled color that bsl hens get coming in.

I know Ive been back and forth ALOT on these babies, but now I can say I belive 100% for sure they are black sex links! Thanks again everyone for your help and input!

Heres her pulletts;

And one from online, I belive the brown coloring she mistook for barring is just the color filling in like this one...

I belive his white barring is going to look alot like this one with maybe a tad bit more brown around the hackle feathers, I will have to post a picture of all of them once they are done morphing!

Still no idea on the solid black chick!!! To be continued......

Here is a pic of Ethel my black sex link. Her "sister" only had a little red under her beak that I could cover up with one finger. I don't think I have a pic of her, but I'll look. Your black one may end up the same color.
