I'm way over by the Mississippi River about 25 min. from Muscatine,IA (wrong side to be close to NE) so sharing wouldn't really be an option

We moved here from Holdrege, NE area and it was an 8-9 hour drive.

I only own a trio at the moment. They are very sweet and very smart.

The eggs (15) were lost in the mail for almost two weeks! I stil hatched out the three of them-hardy little buggers!

Mine free range except in snow! They are very hardy, and were wary of predators at a very young age. I have lot's of thick cover on our property. I would never keep any of my chickens outside in our weather in winter. Mine are kept in a barn (in the winter) because we get below zero so often with ice storms etc. Also, I only keep a few chickens of rare breeds so I tend to baby them. Hard to replace them! Would love to find another color!
