Just wanted to post a few pics of my pullet. I only have a single Orloff. She hangs out with my silver Ameraucana. She has the most interesting personality. Waiting on her first egg...

Got mine by accident, actually. I thought I was getting EE's, but I'm happy to have these girls instead! They are about 16 weeks or so... and are much bigger than my others at this age. They are pretty shy, and I've been trying to work with them to get them a little friendlier. They are now starting to come closer to me when I am in their pen, but still aren't quite as open as some others.

Curious as to what you think about the quality of these girls? PLEASE tell me they are girls.

Also, any breeders in PA? I'd like to start breeding them also, and am in need of a roo.

Thanks!

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Would they try to mount a pullet at this age? I noticed they try to "jump" on the back of a Wyandotte I have, and I just thought that they were trying to be the dominant hen. I doubt that I will keep them if they are roos...
I knew they developed slower than others... didn't realize it would take that long, though! My little 12 week roo is crowing already. Guess I will have to wait awhile!
How long would it be until they laid eggs if they were pullets?

Thanks!
