. I could use a bit of happy. I have an incubator but I've never tried eggs but I think my kids would think that is so cool! Here's to praying your girls horrible molts don't last to long!

Thanks Dawn. I don't know if it's normal, but my Orloffs have horrendous molts. They look SOOOOO bad...and bare! Especially the hens. I feel so bad for them.

Maybe some one here could answer a question for me. Are Orloffs slow to mature? I have 3 hatchery stock Orloffs that are about 25-30 weeks The 2 rooster have yet to crow or start to mate. I can only compare to my other breeds whick started to crow/mate around 16-20 weeks. Thanks

They were bought from Welp Hatchery, they are the same batch that Rachel got. The legs are tan/pinkish I think so. Is that bad?
