My family and I are new to chickens and we were told that our Rhode Island Red was a hen, but we’re not so certain now. She/he is approximately 14 weeks old and hasn’t crowed or anything, but is bigger than our other hens and has a much larger comb/wattles. If you have a guess, we’d love to hear it!

100% rooster. He has the black on his shoulders and the longer tail. He is also larger. 1000% rufus haha

Same thing happened to me! I have two Rhode Island reds who were supposed to be both hens but one definitely looks like a rooster compared to the other one, yet he hasn’t made a sound yet!
