?'s bout duck diapers

Some diaper makers make it easy to order based on the breed, some have very little measurings. There are a couple makers on Etsy, I just ordered a harness from Nettie at Party Fowl but I have ordered a bunch from Feathered Fashions. Both have easy ordering based on breed. It's not too early to get harnesses ordered, they grow fast and before you know it they will be ready for them.

I also have videos of them enjoying their time inside.

They are so cute! Are all your ducks females? Im a newbie and ordered 3 drakes and now someone told me they will fight or pick on my dogs. Did I make a mistake? A lady from metzer farms told me they will get along as long as I don't have any females and raise them together.

I don't know much about drake behavoir besides what I've heard about mating season and such. I do know of several people who keep indoor drakes and don't seem to have any serious behavior issues.

Thank you! I sure hope its not a problem. I'm scared they will pick on my little mallard and they are twice his size

Hey guys! My ducks are only a few days old and I ordered the newborn duck diaper kit from the goose mother as we will keep them indoors. At what point can I order a full harness? We have a Mallard and a Pekin, if that matters.
I also ordered the Kit from The Gooses Mother but had to quit putting them on earlier than expected. I have JUST ordered my 2nd "regular" harness now at 7 weeks and am wondering if theis will be the last harness, the growth hrness also got small sooner than I expected.

I have ran across a dilemma if anyone who is familiar with the harnesses can help me. I do not want to put a diaper on Quack-Quack while we are outside at the parks and lakes, so I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to have their ducks on a leash/harness WITHOUT the diaper potion of the harness, is there another kind of harness to use?

Ok so I just got my duck diaper harnesses and my first attempt to put one of them on my mallard did not go well. My husband was at work, my daughter couldn't stop laughing long enough to help and when I got it on he freaked out running around the room trying to get it off while my Pekin was following him trying to help him get it off. Oh and then he walked over and pooped on my instructions. Whoever thinks ducks are not smart animals should have seen the master minded plan my two ducks defeated me in today

My husband just helped me try it again and he somehow got it off. They will be 6 weeks old next week, my husband thinks they are too old to get used to them and he also thinks all of there rear end including their tail feathers are supposed to go in the back. Any advice and help?? Please tell me I did not just waste 70 dollars!! I know they will work but how do you get them to be still??? Please help!!!
