(S)he's an odd bird...

Ok, so far split leaning roo...

This should be interesting. Do some roosters not want to mate? Or if it is a boy, maybe still too young?

Well, I guess if it's a roo, eventually he'll crow. If it's a pullet, eventually her comb and wattle will turn red and she'll lay an egg. As far as the size of the bird, I have a mixed flock of seven. They were all the same age, but all different sorts of sizes.

Do share with us when you know what he/she is :)

I'm gonna guess pullet on this one. As far as I can tell, there's no saddle feathers and little to no comb/wattle.
And, I've seen ladies with long hackle feathers (I've got two EE ladies that do). This seem more in line with those than male hackle feathers...

Those hackle feathers are actually round. The pattern distorts them.

ETA: At least I believe that's the case. In my experience, as limited as it may be with birds not of the production red varieties, the dark center stripe with the lighter base color on both sides make them look a lot more pointed than they really are.
I don't see any sickle feathers either. Even cochin roosters with their round floof tails have spillier tails than that.
