@sab So cute little pullets !!

8 young ladies. My really good close up camera I can’t get online. I like to buy my chicks 2 of each breed. Do you know how much easier it is count your gals if you only have to see that the 2 buffs are present and the 2 barred rocks are present... as opposed to trying to count 16 moving buffs?! That always works till one of the 2 goes belly up then you get 2 more... now you have 3...

And I only have these girls in the coop till early next week. I have to leave town and I’m trying to make life easier for the chick caretaker. After this next weekend they will go into the chicken tractor which is already sitting inside the chicken run. That’s where the girls will really integrate into the flock.
