he's called like 3 times in the last 5 mins. wanting to know if he's still getting his chicks and send the 2 boxs to hime cost me 57.00 and he forced all the birds into 1 box

You could tell him you will get back to him as soon as your hear from your vet on the official cause of death on the other 3 chickens. So you know whether you will be coming after him, the P.O. or most likely both!!

tell him you'll call it even. one live bird for one stolen box and one useless bloody box. if that's not good enough tell him you'll send the eggs and he can sit on them himself.
keep the photo's, all communications, and the box untill this is resolved.

Those poor poor birds. I'm with the rest. I'd tell him to take a flying leap at a rolling donut and if he calls again the next person he'll be talking to is a police officer.
