Sad chicken?

hey all! My chicken named summer is a wellsummer and she has been acting a little sad, I just noticed it this morning that her tail was dropped and she was not making any noise, I tried feeding her treats and worms but she wouldn’t eat. She is free range, has chicken friends, well fed, laying eggs, and very sweet, anyone know what she is doing? we have an idea that she might be going broody. Update: she is better!!!! She may have been egg bound...... she is amazing now

Probably not sad if there haven't been any changes to flock dynamics.
Not broody if she doesn't spend 23+ hours a day in a nest.
More likely she is sick.

Update: she is better!!!! We think she may have been egg bound..... but she is amazing now

Did she lay that egg?
Egg binding can go on for a couple cycles. After you get 3 eggs, you are probably out of the woods.
