Sad day for 'Peep'

I am so sorry. I did the same thing last week. Only with out a momma hen. I thought they they were in a safe place and when I came back out the check on them I found the neighbor's cat running off with my favorite chick. I was so upset. Poor chicks are just so hard to keep safe.

So sorry to hear about Peep, and sorry for the mom's loss and how she's having troubles too. Just all around so sad.
