I've been calling around locally with no success yet. My daughter went & sat with Rosie in the coop today & she sat right on her lap and cuddled up for a good while which she usually had no interest in doing so I know this is affecting her
I did see an ad for some silkie bantams- would they be a good pair for my buff orp?
I am so sorry for your loss! Currently I have a silkie hen with a young buff orp. They are getting along great. But you will just want to get one hen so they can bond with each other. If you put more than one of a different age or breed they may start a pecking order, or show prejudice.
