However, I'm still on the wagon!

You could still do hatching for other people which could be a good thing.

Good Luck...

Yes you could pre sale them too. Money up front and straight run. This is what most hatcheries do, but they wont tell you! They say they are booked up. Now this would make one "fine tune" their incubation skills.

I think hatching for others is a fantastic idea and a wonderful way to stay involved. That would give others the chance to take advantage of your expertise and get some great birds, too. Consider it!!!!!

Barnyard...I have friends in Panama City and they say it takes them about 3 1/2 hours to get here. Mapquest says about 4 hours. You lose an hour timezone-wise. I'll take some photos and post them in the Chickens for Sale Index. They are looking like teenagers now, but are going to be gorgeous birds. I just checked my hatching log and they hatched on July 4 so they are 19 days old today. Here are some photos of them that I took today:

First of all let me say that I really feel for ya! I almost considered doing the same thing. (Was planning on moving to a small neighborhood.) But changed my mind. I can't let go of them! SO, If you have plans to find homes for those little fuzzies let me know. I can come pick them up. I live only 45 mins or so from you in Trenton.

Speaking of which, I already have an ad telling people I am willing to incubate for 1/3 the offspring! I got a few calls but nothing solid.
