Yikes, sounds like a very unpleasant one to have around.

Actually there can be too many of them around but it's always good to have a few around. Where I live having a few around means a person shouldn't have mice, rats or even other snakes living around the house.

Aww how sad try incubate that last egg and if you could somehow get a incubator you could by some eggs and incubate them and maybe you will get even more than one!
