Well its been 3 weeks since i hatched 33 quail i lost one last week and now 26 have been sold and going to their new homes tomorrow and monday leaving me with the 6 im keeping im sad to see them go but happy they going to good homes

At least you know they're going to good homes! I'm getting ready to re-home some of my buttons and am sad as well just thinking about it Aren't you UK based? Can I ask how you found buyers for them?

Hi Sammi, do you think people keep quail here as pets or for food? I've always wondered. I've never kept quail, or eaten it either! Just musing.
Well done for selling that many. I shall be listing my cockerels in a few weeks when I know which ones they are for sure. Hoping nice homes pop up for them, but they'll go to a local farm if not who rescue unwanted poultry.

letting them go (although hard) means you are able to focus your time and attention on the ones you have left and the best bit...... you can hatch more
