sad update, eggs on day 4, Its my first time hatching in bator

Your "fertile" neighbor's eggs didn't develop as well as the shipped eggs? Looks like a pattern here. Something is wrong here, and most likely it's not the eggs.

Correct. This is from a while ago, I did jump the on these also. And Im done jumping the gun, Im new to this and I have problems sitting on my hands. Them eggs I got from my neighbor where old, 3 weeks I thought they where new but I bought them out of his store, and The first batch of eggs I got I hatched but they came directly from his coop, This batch I had on this thread there old.


as if the other eggs I curently have the Im not going to candle the eggs tell 7-14 some where in there.

I don't think you "jumped the gun" at all. You were correct when you said there should have been some development and if you found none, they were not going to develop at all...I say that because they would have had to catch up 4+ days of no development just to hatch at all, and honestly, that isn't going to happen. If there were no veins or embryo at all, they weren't going to do anything at that point. By day 3 if you cracked a developing egg, you would see very definite signs of life, not just a regular old yolk and white.
