I had 9 eggs in the bator. And 2 I couldent tell which side was pointy, So on day 4 I candled them 2, And I couldent see anything developing, So I desided to crack em, There was nothing forming.... So I was like "hmmm well Ill candle the rest... I diddent see anything, So I gave em one last candle and nothing. So I cracked them nothing in any of them!

Well Idk the eggs came from my neighbors coop where I got the last eggs( the last ones hatched pretty good)

I guess these were not fertile, the temp was in the 99-100 area. and humidity at fist was low then I brought the humity to steady 35-40%

I dont think it would have mattered, By day 4 there should have been the blood vain things in the yolk and it did not even have that it was just any old yolk.

Agreed, by day 3 you should see something. I never toss anything till Day 10 but I can pretty much figure out which ones are gonna go on that day by Day 3.

I wait too. I candle day 6-7? I still leave all in -anything that doesnt look good I put a ? on it-To my surprise there's always 1-2 I ?'d and low and behold get chicks from! day 10 I pull clears

Not necessarily. I've candled on day 4 and saw nothing and a few days later they were developing nicely. I would never crack them open that early. What is the harm in letting them sit in the incubator a few more days? Unless you desperately needed the space. Even then, I'd wait till at least day 7.

Is this your second time incubating?
