To all you brains trust, i need some advice and appreciate all the advice i can get.
I purchased 1dz purebreed white australorp eggs that had to be shipped (i have been against shipping eggs but i am unable to get these in my state, so i know it is a huge risk but i'm willing to try anything once)
I received them very well packaged, all arrived safe and sound but i was concerned about the air sack.
In the past i have had 1 detached air cell from my own eggs and it hatched perfectly, funny thing is that it hatched not even going through the air cell.
My question is:
eggs are on day 8, i did my first candle late last night and all eggs have saddle shaped air cells and all have signs of developement/movement and can see the eye and veins.
i did let the eggs sit for 24hrs before i put them in the incubator.
So i did some reading last night and read that shipped eggs have a better chance with the blunt end up. My incubator has them laying on there side. So i cut up some egg cartons to make little cups for them to stand up and stopped the auto turning.
This morning i gently checked them and all air cells are now at the bottom/pointy end. There is still development/movement inside.
Looks like they have a complete detached air cell but now its not saddle shape.
Im not to sure what to do now, i feel like it my be a waste of time but its hard to stop because of the development inside.
What would you all recommend i do. TIA
