When do polish males develop saddle feathers? I'm trying to sex one and I'm refusing to believe it's another girl

Some birds are slow to grow them. You should be seeing them for sure by 14 weeks though.

A trick I do with certain breeds, is dig through the middle of the back feathers, & there should be the starting of saddles.

Saddles aren't under the wings

Look around the top/just under the wings for the beginnings of saddle feathers along the mid back.

Here they are. They're about 9 or 10 weeks and no wattle growth or saddle feathers. The crest is different then the sisters, but not looking like a male either
