I'm heading to Woodstock, GA tomorrow and will need to stay the night in that area. I know there's a few people here from Georgia and thought I would ask if any one knew about where I should stop. I'll be heading in from the Chatanooga area.

I don't need a fancy hotel or anything, a Days Inn or similar is great. I'm just looking for an area that'll be safe.

Thanks in advance.

I don't remember exactly where it is, but we've stayed in McDonough a couple of times and were happy with it. It's near Atlanta, but I don't remember if it's N or S of it. I think it was a Holiday Inn or Best Western or something like that, on I-75. We've also stayed in Clayton, but I'm not sure how far past Atlanta that is, but it was a nice safe place too.

I just Googled hotels Woodstock Ga and found Hampton Inn, Best Western, and Comfort Suites.

If you are in downtown Woodstock it is a nice stroll through there. I usually go through there every few months to get my wheat and other bread baking supplies.
McDonough is much further south than Woodstock.

Thanks! Looks like I'll actually be there tomorrow night. Unfortunately, I won't have time to do anything. I'm hauling a car down there, dropping it off in the morning and then heading to Oakwood to pick up a different car and then heading home.
