Hello! When we lived in VA, I had chickens and loved them! Black australorps, Rhode Island red, easter eggers, golden comets, buffs, etc.

Now that we live in Fl, I'm trying ducks. Yes, I know they are messy! I picked up two adults from a neighbor (don't remember the breed) hoping they would foster my 4 Peking ducklings. Not successful... yet.

The soil here isnt as fertile as it was in VA so the ducks will help with that:

• Poop doesn't need to be composted.
• No scratching, just padding around

I currently have 7 Pekings and a Rouen, along with 49 chickens. I used to have 11 Pekins and 5 Rouens, but they gradually crossed that rainbow bridge.
