So around Christmas time, a friend of mine gave me a Buff Orpington. She was picked on by their chickens and mine, but now she's out and about with the other girls! She's found her place and loves to eat alongside the girls, and likes to check on what I'm doing. Today she's laid her first egg (here at my house - I don't know how old she is). I find it a little oddly shaped and wonder if it's normal for a hen who hasn't laid? Thanks! (Hers is on the left!)
