anyone ever have to treat their flock with copper sulfate? Is it safe for ducks??

Copper sulfate is a feed additive AND a treatment for certiain things for chickens and turkeys. Like Canker... From the doves that hang out. I have Ducks as well. Just wondering.

Ducks are one if not the most resilent of all the birds kept on here..So I wouldnt worry about it at all Maknat. Dont quote me but I think there is copper sulfate in trace elements in most all chicken feeds including the duck feeds as well. I was thinking you were meaning dosing with a larger quantity.

I've separated all my boy ducks and only the hens that are on nest will be able to get to the copper water.

That is what you meant then. Well good luck. Hope it doesnt mess them or their eggs up.

The package I bought from a hatchery is approved for chickens and turkeys. I was just wondering about ducks.
