My girls have roundworm, and my vet told me to give them fenbendazole. I bought the bottle and was just double-checking I had the correct dose when I saw the bit about not giving it to them when molting (they all are). I don’t want to delay de-worming as one of them has lost weight and had weird poops so I want to make sure it’s not parasites causing it - I know a flock mate has them, so assuming she does too. What is an alternative I can order on-line easily?Preferably as few doses as possible. I find the whole de-worming thing stressful and almost giving them Safe-Guard when molting has just about done it 😂

You can use Valbazen instead, it won't affect feather quality in molting birds.
Valbazen dosing is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.

Thank you - just ordered some in! Hope it lasts as the smallest I could get was 500ml and I have a flock of 10 😂
