I found worms today where my chickens roost in their droppings so I’ve gone out and got safe guard aquasol for chickens. It says to use 0.05 ml for 4 cups of water and roughly 22 pounds flock weight. I have 11 chickens who are all in close contact with each other but are still split up in their own coops for the majority of the day. One coop has 5 chickens, another has 4 (this is the one where I seen worms) and the third has just 2. Since they’re divided like this can I just divide the 4 cups among them. The instructions say not to use on smaller flocks because accurate doses can’t be calculated so I’m not sure if I should just return this. I won’t be able to do that until maybe tonight but more than likely I’ll have to wait till tomorrow and there were a lot of worms I found from just 4 chickens. I’m not sure how much they individually weigh but I’m sure they make it past 22 pounds all together

This is so exhausting especially because I noticed one of my hens had bloody stool and took her to the vet so she could be tested. They gave her antibiotics and I had to wait for a few days for the tests to come back, when they did the vet said there were no parasites but she had bacterial overgrowth and the antibiotics were the correct medication. I was also treating with corid incase and the vet said that it was fine to use both at the same time since I noticed some blood in the droppings of others in her pen. They tested her on the 3 of this month so I guess it can be unrelated, I’m just stressed and it seems like there’s always something going wrong :(
