Saipan Jungle Fowl Question

I have always assumed that, do to their nature and size, saipan jungle fowl would be a great defense against presitors and would hold up very well free-ranging. Is this true?

I think so too. The feral chickens of Maui and of Key West are said to be jungle fowl....
People have also recommended the game breeds and the brown Leghorns as good at evading predators.....
