Sally's GF3 thread

Typical to any time we have friends, we are trying to make the house look more presentable. As I've said, this mess is a house.

I had a thought while I was washing the windows: What if we had guests over every week? Or even every other week? We would keep the house a lot cleaner!

Sally,,,, are these the Kids coming to visit you???
The 1, and 3 years age is about correct :idunno

They can grab anything off a low table:frow

We had a great time at the festival!

Then on the way home, we hit a deer. We were on the highway, going 70mph (the speed limit), and the deer was just there, in front of the car. It was so close to us, I could only see its back. No reaction time, no way not to hit it.

I think the car is probably totaled, but we are fine. I doubt the deer survived. I guess it was thrown clear of the highway...? We didn't see it, or any vehicles swerving to miss something.

If the car is totaled, we'll have to start looking for another one. I'd rather go to the dentist and get another crown. Cheaper, faster, less painful, and I like my dentist.

Oh geez Sally that’s terrible!!!! It’s fortunate that you’re both ok! I’m sorry about your vehicle and understand the car hunt dread.

I'm so sorry, but I am glad that you feel okay.

Yeah, I'm surprised that we don't have any stiffness/soreness. The airbags did not go off, which also surprised me.

We had it towed to our house for a couple reasons. One, I have no idea where State Farm Insurance wants it to go for assessment, and two, we needed a ride home. We were about 32 miles away, and it was about 10:30 by the time the wrecker got it on the flatbed.

I want to give a shout out to Trooper James Pavsoski II. He was the state cop who showed up when we called 911 to report the accident. He called for a tow, said it would arrive faster if he called. He waited for everything to get put on the truck before he left. I thanked him several times. I know he'll probably never see this, but hey, man, thank you. It's your job, but thank you.
