I've recently noticed that at least one of my hens urates have been pinkish/salmon colored. It's usually overnight as I am spotting it on the droppings board in the mornings. I've done some reading on the internet and have seen everything from eating too many dandelions to internal bleeding. My leghorn has not been laying as frequently and I suspect it's her. She has otherwise been acting and eating normally. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

My birds do the same. I did some research when I found the first overnight poop with coral urates and learned it's normal.

Ok, thank you! I had given them strawberries one day so initially thought that was the cause. But several days later it was that color again. Glad it's nothing to worry about.
