Salsify For Chickens

Hello,
I am going to start a vegetable garden and when it is mature I am going to enclose the garden with my electric chicken fence. I plan to grow brussel sprouts and was wondering if anyone would recommend salsify for chickens? My chickens are not picky eaters.

What is your reason to grow salsify???? Ornamental value?? Anything eatable by people should be ok for chicks. That is my opinion. I know that brussel sprouts are in the cabbage family and are welcomed by chicks. At least mine like it. You may not get much for yourself.

My friend says that chickens like them.
