@BrinseaUS hi my incubator is forming salt on the little water passage plastic which is stopping the water from passing and making huge humidity changes... how can i fix this?

Are you currently incubating? Generally for salt deposits a soak in white vinegar will help to dissolve it. And to prevent it from happening again you can use distilled water. I believe some incubators recommend distilled for this reason.

edit for spelling. 😑

Salt not likely more like lime or calcium. If you have a water softener maybe.Fill a clear glass from your tap water and let it set over night .See what seprates and settles to the bottom .If you are getting mineral deposits your water is hard water .You might have your water tested .I think you may have a house hold problem .And distilled not purified. Most purified water is just run over a uv light system .That will not remove minerals in the water. Happy hatching .
