So I have one older EE who I know laid the egg on the bottom and 2 new EEs that are 19-20 weeks old, that I don’t think are laying yet, but the egg on the top is slightly different (shape and hue)
I am leaning toward natural variation from my older EE, as I don’t think the first egg from one of my new girls would be this big, (and I am hoping for more color variation from my new layers) but what do you guys think? *They were laid on 2 different days*

Do the pelvic bone check to see if the new ones are laying. My first chickens all laid very large eggs for their first eggs- like regular large sized eggs. I didn’t even realize “pullet” eggs were supposed to be smaller until my second set started laying and there was a big difference. Also it is possible it could be a double yolker. I’ve had a couple girls lay doubles as their first eggs.

Neither of the new EE’s pelvic bones seem “ready” some separation, but not like my known layer.
