Hi everyone,
I got us approved for a permit today to have our meetup at Lake Murray Park. I am going to take a drive over and find a large spot for us. Please RSVP on the website if you haven't already so we have a list of members attending. We are supposed to stay under 50 people (San Diego County ordinance) or pay extra fees and rent port a potties at any SD parks. With a group around 40 or so last time we were still lucky to have a nice ranger to accept our big group without any permit to give the park notice of our plans.
We are registered as a private group- not open to the public so we can't be charged for any "park goers"

so if we go over - those not on the list are park goers IMO!
Everyone was really nice (spoke with 5 different people!) and seemed "intrigued" (senior ranger's words) in our get-together so we won't have any trouble anyway.
No other events are planned that day, and I was told it shouldn't be too busy aside from a few fisherman in the am and a few picnicers late afternoon. tables should be aplenty!

After I get the specific spot I will post info, map and directions, also I will send to sunny to post it on our site.

Can't wait to see you all there! I will look into other areas for later but I know you won't be disappointed here with the lake, resident birds and ducks, and nice picnic areas! And we are legal! lol

I'm so glad we're legal - thank you for setting that up! Are there any fees that you need to be reimbursed for?

I will go register on the website now. I looked at it in Firefox, IE and Google Chrome. It looks terrific in IE & Chrome, but in Firefox the text is all over the place. (Too large in some spots, overlapping on pictures, etc.) Does anybody else have this issue?
